SoftPerfect RAM Disk is a program for creating a virtual disk in RAM. Since memory is much faster than physical hard drives, it makes sense to store temporary data in high-speed RAM to achieve higher performance. Modern computers are equipped with a large amount of RAM, but most of the time it is not used and can be used as a high-performance alternative to slow hard drives. RAM Disk allows you to create any number of virtual disks in RAM and is limited only by the amount of free memory.
