Synopsis
Between 1896 and 1899, more than 100,000 brave souls set out on a perilous journey into the frozen North on the legendary Klondike Gold Rush trail. Most never made it to the end. Killed or scared off by bears, treacherous terrain, raging torrents and temperatures below -40 degrees, only one in three completed the journey. Now Parker Schnabel of Discovery GOLD RUSH fame, will attempt to make this same journey and document it in Gold Rush: Parker's Trail.

Parker flies in a restored Avenger warplane to retrace his Grandpa’s WWII journey. Plus, the team assembles with a new recruit to find gold in Papua New Guinea.
Season 3 - Episode 2 - Dangerous Depths
An encounter with a group of machete-wielding locals tests the team's preparedness for the region's dangerous conditions after a grueling jungle trek leads Parker and his team to a network of abandoned WWII tunnels.
Season 3 - Episode 3 - Lethal Landslide
A sudden landslide rips Parker from his feet while working on a local hard rock mining operation, washing him down a steep mountain and putting the mission in jeopardy.
Season 3 - Episode 4 - Mercury Rising
Parker embarks on a quest to find better land for a local mining operation and races to build a custom piece of mining equipment that will limit exposure to a deadly chemical used to extract gold.

Parker navigates the volatile and lawless town surrounding Porgera, one of the world's largest and most profitable gold mines. Then, Dave's entire season comes down to 24 hours and a bold risk that threatens to shut down his operation.

Driven to find a lost gold mine, Parkers joins forces with the grandson of a legendary gold miner in search of a hidden El Dorado lost since World War II.
Season 3 - Episode 7 - Parker vs. Backhoe
Harsh terrain pushes Parker's machinery skills to their limit, forcing him to attempt many dangerous manoeuvres in his quest to open a legendary lost gold mine.
Season 3 - Episode 8 - Path to Gold
In his final days on Papua New Guinea, Parker's quest to find gold sends him deep into the jungle where he joins locals in a sacrifice to appease the spirits.
