NEW YORK (Aug. 12, 2025) - VICE Sports is teaming with Peyton Manning’s Omaha
Productions, in association with NFL Films, for a bold new twist on classic football: NFL
CLASSICS: AFTER FURTHER REVIEW. Hosted by NFL Network personality Kyle Brandt, the
six-part series premieres Wednesday, Sept. 3 (9:00-10:00 PM ET) on VICE TV, with new
episodes airing weekly.
In each hour-long episode, NFL CLASSICS: AFTER FURTHER REVIEW reexamines one of
the NFL’s most unforgettable games—this time through the eyes of the players who lived it and
the die-hard celebrity fans who can’t forget it. Game footage plays alongside picture-in-picture
commentary, candid stories, and never-before-heard behind-the-scenes moments. Manning will
also appear at the top of each episode, offering his reflections from these memorable games.
“While production is ongoing, it’s already clear that NFL CLASSICS: AFTER FURTHER
REVIEW is going to be a special series that football fans won’t want to miss,” said VICE TV
President Pete Gaffney. “These aren’t just great games—they’re emotional time capsules, and
hearing the players and fans relive them with total honesty, humor, and heart is pure magic.
We’re also fortunate to have a tremendous personality like Kyle Brandt to guide us through each
episode.”
The series premieres just ahead of the 2025 NFL season opener between the Cowboys and
Eagles, and fittingly starts with a deep dive into the 1995 NFC Championship Game, as
Cowboys legends Michael Irvin and Emmitt Smith relive their dramatic fourth-quarter
comeback against the Green Bay Packers.
The second episode of “NFL Classics: After Further Review” focuses on the unforgettable Super Bowl LIV, where the Kansas City Chiefs faced off against the San Francisco 49ers. This episode, airing on Vice at 9:00 PM on September 10, 2025, dives deep into Patrick Mahomes’ breakout performance that ended a 50-year title drought for the Chiefs. Fans can expect an emotional journey as they relive the highs and lows of that thrilling game.
