Anton von Munster’s beautiful film presents Vivaldi’s music in elegant Venetian vistas, alongside masterpieces by artists including Canaletto, Guardi and Tintoretto, and fabulous costumes and masks worn during the city’s winter Carnival.

Also included is a bonus CD featuring I Musici playing five more of Vivaldi’s magnificent concertos, including the Concerto madrigalesco and the Holy Sepulchre Sonata.
