I have only been able to find some of the TV programs that my wife and I like to watch as HEVC/x265/h265.
I haven't as yet found a TV which will play these files.
I've tried several converter programs, whiuch transcode to MP4 - but with a very poor picture quality; 1080p converts to less quality than x264; and non of the programs transfer the sub-titles to the outputed video.
I know that 'the scene' has decided that x265 is their new standard, but I can't be the only person on this site,
Please point me to, or even make a torrent of, the program that will assist me.
