Storyline:
Two friends who own an investment firm turn to a policeman friend
for help when they are framed for robbery by a gang
of antiquities smugglers.
When The Aces latest job turns sour, partners Baldy (Karl Maka)
and King Kong (Sam Hui) decide to go their separate ways;
however, they are reunited three years later after a brother
and sister crime duo, The New Aces (played by the late,
great Leslie Cheung and beautiful Nina Li) frame them
for the theft of China's national treasures, the Terracotta Army
and a valuable sword.
With both the Chinese authorities (led by Conan Lee's Chinese Rambo)
and a gang of criminals hot on their trail, the guys are forced
to work together once again in order to prove their innocence.

Storyline:
Four former orphanage buddies join forces to open a detective agency.
They are coerced by the local police chief into investigating
a Hong Kong crime boss, and find themselves forced to risk life
and limb to uphold the law. Despite their best efforts to the contrary,
the cowardly, bumbling Lucky Stars becomes heroes.
Hong Kong Police Supt. Walter Tso arrests Big Dai,
the reformed leader of a criminal corporation.
When Dai asked his brother Richard Mao to turn himself
in to the police, he betrays him and decides to take over
the corporation. Dai is imprisoned and an informant is
murdered by one of Mao's men. With no evidence against Mao
and the corporation, Tso coerced four of the "Five Lucky Stars"
to go undercover in the prison, rescue Dai, and help nab Mao
and bring down the corporation.
