On October 17, 2025, guitarist Jon Camp is releasing his new album "Proceed" on Centripetal Force Records. This release marks Camp's transition from primarily solo work to a full electric band sound, presenting his most dynamic and collaborative work. The album, inspired by family history and current issues, explores themes of forward motion and perseverance. The sound of "Proceed" is described as expansive and emotional, with active use of guitar effects, and it moves away from "ambient country" towards greater propulsion. Although Camp wrote all the material, many longtime collaborators participated in the recording. Camp himself defines his music as "folk" in ethos—as a way of processing the world daily.
