Synopsis
Gold Rush fans are used to miners going to great lengths to strike it rich, but in Discovery's latest spin-off show, White Water, "Dakota Fred" Hurt and his son Dustin are headed deep beneath the water's surface.
In the new reality series, which premieres in January, the father son duo return to McKinley Creek, Alaska, where they've enlisted a team of intrepid divers, mountaineers and bush mechanics to search for gold deep in one of Alaska's wildest creeks.
The location, which only recently became available, is surrounded by white water rapids, forcing the guys to dive into raging torrents. Despite the danger, Fred and Dustin are determined to make a fortune, no matter the risk.
Season 2 - Episode 7 - Sacrifice & Sabotage
Morale hits rock bottom after months of hard work are wiped out. Dustin looks for an alternative dive site, but Fred insists on working the original location
Season 2 - Episode 8 - Landslide
With time running out, Fred breaks the drill. To replace it, he buys a dangerous but effective pressure washer to break through the last ground before pay dirt.
Season 2 - Episode 9 - The Widow Maker
The Dakota boys are dredging towards a nugget trap they believe holds a jackpot of gold. After a rough season, could this be the life-changing fortune they need?
Season 2 - Episode 10 - Gold Strike
The crew cleans up and does a final gold weigh-in for the season. Dustin leads the crew to a new mine site that quickly proves to have massive potential.
Season 2 - Episode 11 - Diving Deeper
The Dakota Boys and crew recap their action-packed mining season and disclose previously untold stories of life at McKinley Creek.
