Picking up where the first series left off, with the Phoenix Club lying in ashes after being burned to the ground by Potter's nemesis Den Perry, the second season wastes little time getting things back up and running. And with the Phoenix soon back in business, the series then follows the likes of a semi-successful booze cruise, the legendary Phoenix fun day, the return of Talent Trek and bumbling doormen Max and Paddy taking on a hitman contract. Series 2 Series 2 Episode 1 As he and Jerry watch the Phoenix Club burn to the ground, Brian suspects arch-rival Den Perry may be the sinister force behind the raging inferno. Vowing to resurrect his beloved establishment, he soon realises that with no licence, no brewery and no money, he's going to have to improvise. Series 2 Episode 2 Brian is still in desperate need of funds to pay for the refurbishment, and hits on the idea of hosting a family fun day - using the windswept car park as the venue. Meanwhile, gormless bouncers Max and Paddy are sent to France on a booze run and have to rely on their wits to get through customs unscathed Series 2 Episode 3 Brian is still convinced it was rival Den Perry who torched his beloved club, and persuades a TV crew to stage a reconstruction of the night of the fire - but he also seizes the chance to turn the event into a publicity stunt. Series 2 Episode 4 Jerry is furious to discover Brian has organised a quiz night behind his back, and when he finds out the prize is a year's supply of free lager he decides the time has come to make some serious decisions. Series 2 Episode 5 Brian stocks up on alcohol in preparation for Ladies' Night : and Paddy can't wait for the punters to arrive. Meanwhile, Max has his eye set well above his league, and is surprised when he receives a strange proposition. Series 2 Episode 6 As his luck finally seems to be changing, Brian celebrates by holding a gala Stars in Their Eyes night at the resurrected Phoenix club. However, Jerry discovers someone has cancelled the acts and the pair are obliged to fall back on their natural talent and initiative, to prevent the night turning into an unparalleled disaster.
