Psiphon is a new Internet censorship bypass tool from Psiphon Inc. It uses VPN, SSH and HTTP proxy technologies to solve the problem of accessing blocked resources. The Psiphon software client automatically receives data about new servers and thus increases your chances of circumventing censorship. Psiphon is designed to provide you with open access to online content. Use of Psiphon does not enhance your online privacy and should not be considered or used as an online security tool.

However, unfortunately, this solution does not guarantee an increased level of confidentiality. It has certain protective mechanisms, but it is difficult to call them reliable. Therefore, if you are primarily concerned about anonymity, then it is better to use analogues.
Usage:
Psiphon works like other VPN clients, providing users with a list of foreign servers available for connection. You can use the auto-connect function to the point with the best speed or select a server yourself. It is rational to use manual selection when there is a need to visit a website that can only be accessed from IP addresses of certain countries. Also, when choosing a server, it is worth considering that the closer it is to the computer from which the connection was made, the higher the data transfer speed will be. But Psiphon has problems with the latter. This is another reason that may force you to look for programs with similar functionality if high Internet connection speed is a priority.
Interface:
Working with Psiphon is not very difficult due to its fairly simple interface. When launched, the main menu will be displayed on the left side of the window, containing the items “Settings”, “Feedback”, “About the application”, “Logs”, “Language”, on the right there will be a work area showing the connection status (connected or disconnected). The button for selecting the server country is located at the bottom.
