This four-part conspiracy thriller stars Gabriel Byrne as Tom Dawkins, a reluctant hero thrust into the spotlight following an industrial accident that kills several people and raises questions about the safety procedures of the US petrochemical company involved in the incident. Dawkins, who believes in transparency and open government, must overcome financial and military interests in his pursuit of truth and justice for the victims' families. During the investigation, Dawkins - who weathers damaging revelations about his own life - discovers that the Establishment has secret ties to the chemical company and comes to the realisation that there are bigger powers at play behind the scenes. The drama series is inspired by Chris Mullin's novel `A Very British Coup'.
