Overview: Derek Thomas is the author of The Demented: Z Series, including Book 1: The Demented, Book 2: The Demented: Desolation, and a companion piece called The Demented: Confliction. He lives in the Pacific Northwest with his wife and two kids. Writing a book was on his bucket list and once he got started he found the process freed his mind and let him get away from things for a time.

1. The Demented
A loving family man is hundreds of miles from home when a pandemic of unimaginable horrors is unleashed on the world. It happens in an instant.
