The ability to control any ship: X4 will allow you to take the helm of any ship. Exploration and Teleportation: Instant and invisible movement between ships and NPCs who take control of your empire will continue at an even higher level. Once you unlock teleportation, you will be able to move from ship to ship much faster and experience all the critical situations that happen to your NPC pilots. Any order you gave to the ship before will turn into a mission. But as soon as you leave the ship, the NPC pilot will take control for you and continue the mission.
